Education & Professional Development Opportunities
Welcome to the Professional Development Section of the EBSIG website. I am glad you have decided to join the world's premier community of Project Management practitioners, and hope you not only benefit from our training resources, but also use the various volunteer opportunities to build your own portfolio and gain PDUs. Please take some time to explore one of our key partnerships below with University of British Columbia, as well as our long-term strategy. Feel free to contact me at any time to discuss your ideas or whitepapers you might want to share.
The EBSIG's professional development activities are focused on providing members with access to educational and informational resources that can further increase knowledge sharing related to eBusiness project management.
Professional Development Strategy
The Vice Chair of Professional Development presented the draft Strategy for 2009 at the October Board meeting. It is recommended reading for all members and includes a review of some critical trends in E-Business, and will be updated to reflect the opinions of the member survey conducted in December 2009.
If you have any suggestions, ideas or concepts, the EBSIG Board would like to hear specific areas of interest. Please send an e-mail to Vice Chair of Professional Development with any of your comments or suggestions.
